STAGGS, Albert - loses arm

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Staggs of Waveland have received a letter from their son, Albert who is with the American armies in France in which he states that he had one of his arms shot off in battle. The young soldier is now in a French hospital and is progressing nicely the letter says.
