NICHOLSON BROTHERS MEET IN FRANCE

Source: Crawfordsville Review Oct 22, 1918 p 7

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Nicholson have received word from their sons, Lt. Kenyon and Lt. Lawrence Nicholson that they had met in France and were enjoying being together almost every day. The meeting of brothers in France is not a very common occurrence, especially after they had been separated for a number of months before going overseas. In a letter from Lawrence he told his parents that his meeting with Kenyon was a strange case and that he had written her telling her just how it happened. That letter has never reached the Nicholsons.

Kenyon Nicholson was graduated from Wabash College and entered the first officers training camp at Ft. Benjamin Harrison from where he was graduated a Lt. Lawrence Nicholson was a junior at college at the time he entered the first Officer's Training Camp with his brother and was also graduated a Lt. Kenyon has been in France for a number of months while his brother has only been there since September   --- transcribed by kbz
