LITTLE, Horace

Darlington, Nov 12 - Homer Little, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.N. Little, of this place who was reported missing in action since Sept 12 in a message received by his parents some time ago is in a hospital in France suffering from a wound received on Sept 16 according to information received Sunday.; the message came to his parents, clearing up the undecided information previous received. Pvt. Little has been in France for 7 months. He lived in Kokom o about 9 months before entering the service but enlisted from Illinois. He was first stationed at Camp Taylor, but was transferred to Long Island before leaving for overseas duty. THe parents of the young man received a letter from him this morning stating that he had been severely wounded in the right hand and that one of his comrades who was with him had been wounded in the left hand and was writing for him. He stated that other than his wounds he was very well and was able to be up and around   -- kbz
