EDWARDS, Warner Elver

WARNER ELVER EDWARDS

Warner Elver Edwards was 30 years old, top for required registry with the government for the WWI war. Born on October 10, 1887, he was a self-employed farmer, married with a child. He lived near Linnsburg. Described as Tall, and SLender, he had light brown hair and blue eyes.

His parents, Charles J. and Esteline Abbott Edwards lived in the Mace area. They had at least five children, three sons and two daughters. Warner and Ruth had one son, possibly more children, son named Eugene.

He died in the city hospital, Indianapolis, Marion County where he had been living, working as a postal clerk. He was a mere 55 years 5 months and 14 days. He died of tuberculosis which he had suffered from for some time. Passed on March 24, 1942 at 9:45 a.m. He went back home to Mace where he is buried at the K of P. Cemetery.
