CALHAN, John

Word has been received by Sarah Calhan of New Ross that her son, John Hayes Calhan, USN has arrived from overseas after having seen service in France, Italy, Greece and Austria. For several months he was stationed on the Austrian battleship Radizky, taken over by the Americans at the time of the signing of the armistice. The last few months of his overseas service was spent in the harbor of Spolato, Austria.
