Covington - Descendants of Albert and Sarah Collins Gayler and Albert and Mary Thayer Gayler held their reunion Sept 11 at Covington City Park with a carry-in dinner. The noon blessing was given by Tom Gayler. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Kochell, Evansville; Mr. and Mrs. John Hines and family, Terre Haute; Mr. and Mrs. Rob Deck and family, Urbana, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. James Gayler, Greg Gayler all of Waynetown; Mr. and Mrs. Todd Wilson and daughters, Ambia; Larry Gayler, James and Lan Gaylor, Crawfordsville; Mr. and Mrs. Oral Gayler, Williamsport; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gayler, Sr. Bill Gaylor, Jr, Wanda and Jeremiah; Opal Rader, all of Attica; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gayler, Ryan, Shannon, Jason Rochall Kenner and Jessica Jean all rural Kingman; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Babb and family; Chester Gayler rural Veedersburg; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gayler, Mr. and Mrs. John Gayler, Charley, Tessa Hal Gayler, JJ, Gale Gayler, Kami Griffin all of Covington. The oldest person present was Opal Rader, Attica, youngest was Tisbitha Deck, Urbana, Ill daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rob Deck, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Kochell, Evansville traveling the farthest to attend.
