The 45th annual Bodine Reunion was held at the Covington City Park on Sunday Aug 15. At the business meeting, Floyd Hovermale retained the office of president. Gifts for the oldest guest present went to Dick Bodine, 3rd St, Covington and Mrs. Ava Bodine from Alvin, Ill for the youngest one present, Andy Auter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Auter of Frankfort; and for the people coming the farthest, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bodine of Greenwood. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Don Ford and family, Covington; Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bodine of Alvin, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Rhodes of Battle ground; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bodine of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Auter and son of Frankfort; Mrs. Edith Auter, Ed, Sue, Judy and Jeff of West Lebanon; Mr. and Mrs. Clint Mr. and Mrs. Clint Coffing; Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Larry McCallough (sic) and daughter of Crawfordsville; Mr. and Mrs. ? Partenheimer of Rankin, Ill; Robert Bodine, Betty and Peter; Dick Boding; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bodine, Jim and Jeff and Mr. and Mrs. Cleland Douglas all of Covington; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hovermale and daughter, Janet of Veedersburg, Rt 2 and Mr. and Mrs. James R. Bodine and daughter of Attica. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. MS Bodine and daughters of Champaign, Ill; Mrs. Lura Smith of Covington and Mrs. Florence Yerkes and Cordila Oakes of Danville, Ill.
