VEEDERSBURG DAR - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg – Officers were installed by Veedersburg DAR Chapter at a luncheon meeting in the home of Mrs. Vern French. Mrs Wayne Cory installed the following: Regent, Mrs Lawrence Howard, Vice regent, Mrs. Harry Harrison; chaplain, Mrs. Herbert Allen; recording secretary, Mrs. Harry Linn; corresponding secretary, Mrs. Perry Cook, treasurer, Miss Ruth Beaver; registrar, Mrs. Woolen Hollcraft; Historian, Mrs. Robert Boord; librarian, Mrs. Harold Pickard.  20 members were present for the luncheon and guests were Mrs. Glen Forkner and daughter Ellen; Mrs. Mary Edwards and Miss Julia Ponder. The chapter has recessed its meetings for July and August.
