50th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lang of Veedersburg will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house next Sunday, September 25, from 2-4 p.m. at the Scout Cabin in the Veedersburg Park. Friends and relatives are invited.
Mr. and Mrs. Lang were married September 25, 1916, in Oswego, Kan. Mrs. Lang's sister and Lang's uncle were married at the same time, which was the bride's mother's birthday.
The Langs have five living children: Martha of Fowler, Ind.; Arthur of Hillsboro; Charles of Golden, Colo; Betty and Donald of Veedersburg. A son, Robert, was killed in Korea. They have 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
