FRAZIER 1956 REUNION - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

There were 63 in attendance at the annual Frazier reunion held at Milligan Park in Crawfordsville Sunday. Mrs. Warren Richardson of Muncie was elected as president of the 1957 reunion which will be held at same place and time.  Mrs. Ethel Foxworthy, Hillsboro, is permanent secretary of the reunion.  She read letters from Harry Frazier of Evansville; Homer Frazier, Oakland, Calif and Mrs. Helen Frazier Champlain, Glyn Ellen, Ill.  Coming the farthest distance was Mrs. Lona Frazier of Tucson, Ariz who is making an extended visit here and Mrs. Mary Olive Newton of Rose Hill, Va. A history of the Frazier-Williams families written by Mrs. Ethel Frazier Tewell of Girard, Kansas was read by Mrs. Foxworthy.  There was only one death reported in the family during the past year, Mrs. Lizzie Frazier of Indianapolis who died at the age of 99 years on Aug 2, 1955.  Marriages were: Miss Joan Frazier and John Green on Dec 27, 1955 and Caryl Champlain to Robert N. Sanford Jr on Sept 6, 1955.  Both brides are granddaughters to Dr. and Mrs. Charles Frazier of Wheaton, Ill.  Birth were: a daughter Mary Ellen born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cantwell Feb 29, 1956; daughter Bete Jane born to Mr. and Mrs. K Lee Meyer, Jan 14, 1956; son, James Edward born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Newton Feb 2, 1956; son, Robert Steven born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Glover, Sept 2, 1955; son William Clay born to Mr. and Mrs. William B. Martin, Nov 8, 1955. Those attending were from Urbana, Ill; Terre Haute; Frankfort; Muncie; Dayton; Linden; Crawfordsville; Lafayette; Waynetown and Hillsboro.
