There has been an epidemic of fevers and other sickness at Newtown and a great many deaths. Samuel Dimmick and wife died near the same time and were both buried at once, while their daughter died on the day of their funeral. - kbz

Singer & Pizer have been hit hard with sickness among employees and managers had to shut down for several days this week. Enough of them have recovered to resume work and the factory in the Ford building will resume work on next Monday.
