Danville, Ind., Nov. 7—Baldess, Fred and Charles Kress went to Hillsboro and assaulted Thomas Coleman, a constable, beating him in a terrible manner. His head was cut up and he received internal injuries which may prove fatal. The affair caused much excitement, a telegram being received here that a riot was in progress and calling for the sheriff. When he arrived, it was over. No arrests have as yet been made, but it will be investigated by the grand jury next week. -s
