CLAWSON, Ollie - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Clawson of Veedersburg, Route 4, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, July 6, at open house at their home. Helping celebrate this happy occasion were members of their immediate families and a host of relatives and friends who registered as coming from surrounding towns and as far away as Upland, California. Refreshments were served from a beautifully decorated table by Mrs. Ralph Clawson and Mrs. Leo Clawson. A granddaughter, Geanette Clawson, was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Clawson, the former Ruth Boord, and Ollie Clawson, son of Ben and Sarah Brown Clawson, were united in marriage July 7, 1908 by the Rev. Crowell at his home in Veedersburg. Mr. and Mrs. Clawson are the parents of three sons, Ralph of Veedersburg, Leo of Kansas City, Missouri, and Bob at home. They also have two granddaughters, Beverly Dull of Kansas City, and Geanette Clawson of Veedersburg, and one great-grandson, Gary Dull of Kansas City.
