Yeddo, Jan 12 – Mr. and Mrs. Addison Bell will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday Jan 23 at their home in Yeddo with open house and invite relatives, neighbors and old friends to call between the hours of 1 and 5 o’clock. Addison Bell and Phrana Livengood were married Jan 24, 1894 at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthias Livengood. Mr. and Mrs. Bell went to housekeeping on a farm near the latter’s parents in the Livengood neighborhood and lived there many years, later moving to Yeddo. There are five persons still living who attended the wedding 50 years ago. They are: Mrs. Earle Wilkinson and Albert Underwood of Crawfordsville; Mrs. John Robinson of Waynetown; Mrs. Miles Ratcliff and Mrs. CR Thomas of Wallace who are especially invited to attend the open house. Mr. and Mrs. Bell have four children and seven grandchildren. Their child who will be with them on Jan 23 for the celebration are Mrs. Earl Carter of Wallace; Clifford Bell of Veedersburg; Leslie Bell of Hillsboro and Wilmer Bell of Waynetown. The anniversary date of Mr. and Mrs. Bell is also the birthday of their oldest granddaughter, Miss Eileen Bell of Hillsboro who will be 19 on Jan 24. = kbz
