Snickerdoodles

"Snickerdoodles"

If I hadn't already said several of these cookies were my favorites, I'd probably say that about these Snickerdoodles, but since I have, I'll just have to suffice by saying you haven't lived if you haven't tasted one before -- so, get busy and make 'em! Aunt Ginny (Bannon) Kelsey (not really my aunt, I've just always called her that since I was little and think of her as one) gave me this recipe, I think at my wedding shower in 1968.

These were Christmas presents for my brother, Larry & his son, Rob & daughter, Nick for several years; however, Rob decided to make them once and they were WAY beyond my level of Snickerdoodles (much flufflier and fatter - melt in your mouth) so now, he has the job of official snick maker.
