Pecan Pie Bars
PECAN PIE BARS
Preheat oven to 350 (325 if using glass).
In medium bowl, combine 2 C. unsifted flour and ½ C. confectioner’s sugar – cut in 1 C. cold butter until crumbly.
Press firmly on bottom of 13 x 9 pan. Bake 15 minutes.
Meanwhile in medium bowl, beat 14-oz can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk, condensed), 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla. Stir in 1 C chopped pecans and 1, 6-oz package of Almond brickle chips. Spread evenly over the crust and bake an addition 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator only ya’ won’t have many left to do that – lol.
