"Pecan Cookie Cups"
My cousin Frank's wife, Jeanie (Nestler) Certain gave me this cookie recipe in January of 1976. We owned a restaurant at that time and for many years later. Every Christmas I would bake cookies for the bachelor's who came in everyday -- this was one of the MUSTS to include in their Christmas baskets.

Mix with hands:
3-oz. Cream cheese
1 stick Butter
1 C. Flour
Pinch Salt
Make into balls and press into tart pans - leave a center depression for the filling. (Works easier if you put the dough in the refrigerator about an hour).
"Filling" -- 1/2 C. Chopped Pecans
3/4 C. Brown Sugar
1 Egg
2 T. Melted Butter
Vanilla
Pinch Salt
Mix and put about 1 tsp. in each tart.
Bake for 30-35 minutes at 325 - 350 degrees. GREAT!!!!!!!
