Papaw's Cookies

"Papaw's Cookies"

I don't really remember my Dad being too crazy about any kind of cookie, but his mother made him these (and she could NOT bake) -- they had no name, and so we dubbed 'em "Papaw's Cookies" (actually they were Dad's cookies until he became a Papaw, then we changed their name). They're good! KBZ

In a large Mixing Bowl: Beat at high power, and stir down with a spatula:
1 C. Margarine
1 C. Sugar
1 C. Brown Sugar
2 C. Quick Oatmeal
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Add: 2 Eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. Flour
1 C. Cocoa

Beat again. Using a tsp. form into balls and squash down with fork on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes until golden. Watch carefully to get them done to perfection!
