CARAMEL DROP COOKIES
My aunt had cut this from some newspaper and put it in her little cookbook of goodies.
2 C. Brown Sugar – cream with ¾ C. Shortening
Mix other ingredients (3 scant Cups of flour – 3 eggs – 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp soda in 1 T. hot water and 1 tsp…. vanilla. Mix the two together and drop from spoon – bake about 10 minutes at 375.
