CHERRY Dump CAKE
Not sure where I got this – seems like one of the kids’ get togethers for basketball or whatnot but been making it for years – it’s easy and we all enjoy it!

Note: Although it says Cherry Dump Cake, you can use either Peach, Apple or especially yummy blueberry pie filling instead.
20-oz Can Crushed Pineapple with juice – spread in the bottom of a 9x13 pan that has been sprayed with Pam
Cherry Pie Filling – kind of spread (but don’t really mix it together) it on top of the pineapple
Yellow Cake Mix – sprinkle on top of these two items – or pour but be careful not to glob it together
1 stick butter – have it cut in small pieces and ready – put on top of the cake mix
½ Cup to 1 Cup Chopped pecans (some use almonds – we like pecans
Sprinkle on top of the cut-up butter – bake 45 or 50- minutes until done.  Yum, yum and triple YUM!
