"Lemon Whippersnappers"

Frances Watson gave me this delicious and unusual delight. She was the mother of one of my very good friends and one of the best cooks I knew. My granddaughter, Reilley absolutely loves these.

1 Box Yellow Cake Mix (without pudding)
1 Egg 8-oz.
Cool Whip

Mix and chill well. Drop by tsp. into powdered sugar and roll into balls - walnut size. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 11 minutes.
