Lazy Man's Stew

LAZY MAN”S STEW

(Mrs. Wernle – Montgomery County Genealogy Cookbook – about 1975)


2 # chuck stew meat
1 pkg dehydrated onion soup
1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)

1 can (8 oz) slice mushrooms with the juice
Mix all and put in casserole.  Bake 3 hours at 325 covered.  Serve with noodles or rice and a tossed salad.  “If you like a thicker stew, use cornstarch or flour for thickening!
