Kris Kringle Cookies
"Kris Kringle Cookies"
My very good friend, Nancy Kelsey Powers gave me this recipe at Christmas one year. It's a different twist to Rice Krispie treats -- my kids LOVED 'em and I know yours will too!!
In a pan, mix, and bring to a boil:
1 C. Sugar
1 C. Light Corn Syrup
1 C. Peanut Butter
Remove and add in a mixing bowl:
6 C. Rice Krispies - mix well
Press in a 9 x 13 pan. Let harden.
Melt in double boiler: (or microwave - just be careful)
6-oz. Pkg. Chocolate Chips
6-oz. Pkg. Butterscotch Chips
Drizzle (or just pour) on top of above mixture. SCRUMPTIOUS!
