FREEZER SLAW
My Aunt Alice (Bazzani) Certain gave me this recipe and think Aunt Ginny Kelsey gave me one similar. It is REALLY good, and usually I don't like vinegary type things.
Chop: 1 Cabbage 1 Mango
1 Carrot
Let stand 1 hour
Add: 1 tsp. salt
"Slaw Dressing"
Boil: 1 C. Vinegar
1/4 C. Water
2 C. Sugar
1 T. Celery Seed
1 T. Mustard Seed
Let cool (or refrigerate) (I keep extra in jars in the refrigerator for the next day) Pour slaw dressing over drained chopped Cabbage/mango/carrrot mixture, toss and serve.
