Butter Brickle Bars

"Butter Brickle Bars"

This is my ex-daughter-in-law Jessica's favorite cookies that I make -- or, at least I THINK they are -- I do remember that once she dumped them -- hopefully, not on purpose. Just kidding -- they ARE GOOD!!! I think I got the recipe from the Butter Brickle chip package or this excellent 6-ingredient or less cookbook from one of my fav people, Ruth Hallett -- one or the other places -- it's not really an OLD family recipe, but one we all like, nonetheless!!

Mix as if you are making pie crust: 2-layer size Yellow Cake Mix
1/3 C. Margarine
1 Egg

Pack onto a cookie sheet.

Spread: 1 Can Eagle Brand Milk
1/2 C. Chopped WALNUTS (not same taste with other nuts)
6-oz. pkg, Butter Brickle Chips

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
