Apple Dessert - most amazing
MOST AMAZING APPLE DESSERT EVER (Taste of Home)
Bring to boil – 2 T. Butter – 1 ½ C. Packed Brown Sugar --- 1 ½ C. Water – then simmer
Combine all – 1 ¼ C. Flour -- ½ C. Sugar – 2 tsp. baking powder – ½ tsp salt – ½ C. Milk – 2 T. soft butter – 2 tsp. vanilla – ½ C. Coarsely chopped peeled apples. Mix well and drop by Tablespooons into the simmering sauce. Cover tightly – simmer 20 minutes and DO NOT lift lid.
This is just amazing and sooo delicious. Serve warm and top with vanilla bean ice cream, cool whip or homemade caramel sauce (although it makes plenty of its own). YUM!!! And double YUM!
