On the 4th of this month Uncle Johnny Beard was 80 years old. Since
the death of Mrs. Whitlock and Uncle Billy Miller, there is not a person left
who was grown at the time he came to this county fifty years ago.

When the fact became known to his friends about McClure’s Undertaking Establishment, which is a sort of headquarters, they passed the basket.
