TAGUE, Wallace - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Sgt. Wallace TAGUE 35, son of Arthur Tague of Waveland was slightly wounded in action in Belgium Jan 9. His wife in Crawfordsville received a letter written the day after he was wounded though it did not state the nature or the degree of his wounds. He belonged to the "Hell on Wheels" Armored Division, which had penetrated 15 miles into Germany by Dec 2. The other Tague boys have fine records: Pfc Harley is in New Guinea; Cpl Harold is at Ft. Benning Ga and Eugene is in California All these boys have seen action and have been a credit to the service.
