Pfc. Francis C. EVERMAN, son of James W. Everman of Ladoga, was slightly wounded in action May 5, somewhere in Germany, 3 days before the unconditional surrender of the Nazi army. Pfc. Everman was serving with the 89th Reconnaissance squadron headquarters. He has been in the service since October 1941, and overseas since August 1944. Two brothers of Pfc. Everman are also in the army, Sgt. Everett Everman is stationed somewhere in the Philippines while Sgt. Harold Everman is in camp in South Carolina.
