Ladoga, Dec 30 - Pfc. Edwin Densmore, age 30, was slightly wounded in action in Germany on December 14, according to a message that came from the Department of War Friday to his wife, Mrs. Jane Gray Densmore of Ladoga.

A letter written by Pfc. Densmore and received by his wife, Saturday morning stated that he was injured when he stppedon a German mine, which blew up and caused him to suffer a broken foot. He said he had already been treated in different hospitals and that he was on his way to a general hospital.

Inducted into the service some months ago, Pfc. Densmore was shipped overseas from a New York port in October, arriving in ENgland Oct 27. Previously, in this country, he had training at Camp Robinson, Ark and Fort Meade, Maryland, following his induction at Ft. Benjamin Harrison.

Pfc. Densmore's mother, Mrs. Mae Densmore, and his sister, Mrs. Dorothy Nelson also live here. Pfc and. Mrs. Densmore are the parents of a small son, Myron, living with his mother in Ladoga.
