BEDFORD DAILY TIMES-MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, JULY 2, 1947 WIFE OF ALBERT HOLLARS PASSES Mrs. Daisy Hollars, wife of Albert Hollars, of Springville, R. R. 2, died at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn Memorial Hospital following her admittance there at 1:00 p.m. yesterday. The daughter of Robert and Sallie Grandstaff McMillan, she was born in Tennessee December 28, 1890. Her marriage with Albert Hollars occurred November 8, 1909. Mrs. Hollars was a member of the Springville Methodist Church. Survivors, besides the husband, are a son, Robert Lloyd Hollars, of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Powers, of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, a brother, Benton McMillan, and a sister, Mrs. Thornton Weaver, both residents of the Popcorn community in Perry township, and her mother, Mrs. Sallie McMillan, also of the Popcorn community. The body was prepared for burial at the Day & Carter Mortuary and will lie in state there until Friday afternoon when it will be taken to the family residence and lie in state there until the funeral. Final rites will be conducted from the Springville Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and burial will follow in the Lowder Cemetery in Perry township. HOLLARS RITES HELD SATURDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Hollars, wife of Albert Hollars, of Springville R. R.1, who died at Dunn Memorial Hospital at 3:30 p.m. last Tuesday, wer held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Springville Methodist Church under direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary, and were largely attended. Rev. R. L. Bennett was the officiating minister and Betty Hawkins and Claudette Wiley rendered "Tarry With Me Oh My Saviour" and "God Will Take Care Of You" to piano accompaniments played by Mrs. Claude Wiley. Mrs. Twilla Trisler served as church pianist. Floral tributes were in charge of Mesdames Houston Graves, Roberta Smithers, Phyllis Andis, Jack Sullivan, Vonda Baker, Misses Betty McMillin, Wilma Colvin, Marcella Childers, Barbara Clements, Jean Graves, Delores May, Georgia McMillan and Jonelle Rosenberry. Pall bearers were Jack Sullivan, Ed Graves, Becom Godsey, Virgil Easton, W. V. Rosenberry and Walter Wells. Interment was in the Lowder Cemetery in Perry township.
