Vida Marie Flynn of Springville, IN, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, at Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born on May 30, 1926, in Martin County, IN, she was the daughter of Winfred Wayne and Vida Mary Jane (Cornwall) Bridges. She married George Flynn on January 31, 1942, and he died December 2, 1986. Surviving are three daughters: Gloria Phillips and Janice Banks, both of Springville, IN, and Cherlyn Schneider of Youngstown, OH; two sons, Anthony Flynn of Williams, IN, and Lowell Flynn of Bedford, IN; two brothers, Ralph Bridges of Norman, IN, and Don Bridges of Mitchell, IN; two sisters, Sherry Peck and Elizabeth Burgess, both of Bedford, IN; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Gary Flynn; one grandson, Rocky Saunders; two brothers, Albert Ray & Winfred Wayne Bridges Jr. She was a homemaker and member of Living Word Church. Services for Vida Flynn will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 30th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Lowder Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the service time on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
