My name is Mark
Mann, and I am the volunteer coordinator for Huntington County. Hopefully I can guide you to information
you may need to find your ancestors, but I do not keep any data other than that of my own
family. Any information I have related to the county is posted here.
Have you ever connected to a site far away and wished there was more
information available? We have many visitors to our site that have
the same wishes. If you live in the Huntington area and are willing
to do lookups at the library, please let me know. Suggestions for page improvements are always
welcome. Interested in hosting a county or want to know
what's involved? Contact Lena Harper, our State Coordinator.
Huntington County is part of the
INGenWeb project, which is
part of the USGenWeb
project. We are here to provide free access to data collected and
donated by others. The Huntington County site is hosted by
BillionGraves and there is no
charge to us for this hosting. During your research, you may find yourself following a link to a site that requires a paid subscription to access the data (such as Ancestry.com). The choice of subscribing is yours, of course, but may not be necessary. Many of the volunteers that help with this site are paid subscribers. If you have a question and it appears the answer is only available through the paid site, go to the Huntington County Interactive Database and post a query. Chances are someone will know or have access to the answer and post a response. We believe your only investment in learning about your family history should be your time.
