Thursday was visitors day at the Wabash Valley Canning Factory and a group of over two dozen business men took advantage of the invitation and visited the busy place en masse. They found the factory full of life and action, as evidenced by the 90 women and over 50 men all busy in the various departments that are required to handle the tomato crop from the dumping yard to the finished product in cans and stacked in the commodious storage room.  John W. Henry, president and business manager showed the company of guests. He reports the tomato crop this year as good, the quality being unusually fine. He places the company’s production for the two days previous to Thursday at 14,000 No. 3 cans and 2500 gallon cans of soup pulp.
