The Wabash Clay Factory at Veedersburg was sold at receivers sale Tuesday bringing $65,000 the sale being necessary in order to clear up some titles. The purchasers were the president and vice president of the company. It is announced that the company will be reorganized at once and operations will be resumed on a larger scale than ever. It is claimed they have orders ahead for keeping a full force busy for many months.

Veedersburg, Ind April 2 – 100 men struck at the Wabash Clay Works at this place yesterday. The strike was ordered by local Union No 700 of the Brick, Tile & Terra Cotta Workers in response to an ineffectual attempt to unionize the plant of the Wabash Clay Company. – kbz
