McDonald, Spears & Co

Thanks to Aaron Bennett for this find on the “You know you’re from Attica, Indiana if … Facebook page.”

This was a lot of fun trying to find what McD & S Co. was in a beautiful old ledger from what was discovered to be the McDonald, Spears & Company, a mercantile business.  Several pitched in and it was super fun.  I asked if I could put it on the GenWeb page and was granted permission – thanks so much!
