Banks - of Attica
1850s Shawnee Bank (photo from WorthPoint) - in Attica
In 1855, there were two banks 0- both free banks (sorry, not sure what that is but both were under the "75 cents/dollar payback" whereas others were higher)
I had an advertisement from the Crawfordsville 1855 Weekly Journal but I have lost it - so sorry - it was so cool - hopefully I can find it again
Here's is the Shawnee Bank $5 note though - it's pretty cool
Thanks so much to WorthPoint for the photo - unbelievable
