Last Will and Testament of Philander M.
Curtis
I, Philander M. Curtis, a resident of Boone County, Indiana,
and being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make,
publish and declare this to be my last will and testament,
hereby revoking all former wills by me made:
Item 1. I hereby direct my executrix hereinafter named to
pay all of my just debts and expenses of my last sickness
and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as possible.
Item 2. I give and bequeath to my son, Wallace G. Curtis, my
gold watch and twenty-five dollars, which is to be in full
of all his interest in my estate as I have made heretofore
advancements to him equal to a full share in my estate.
Item 3. The residue of my estate, both real and personal, I
give and bequeath to my children, Margaret I. Perkins,
Rebecca E. Wysong, William G. Curtis, and Purly M.
Shackleford, share and share alike.
I make no provision in this my last will and testament for
my daughter Flora A. Curtis as I have heretofore made
advancements to her equal to a full share in my estate.
Item 4. I hereby appoint Flora A. Curtis my daughter,
executrix of my last will.
Witness my hand and seal this 15th day of July 1914 at the
city of Lebanon, Indiana.
