Wonderful News For Boone County Genealogy!
December 1, 2006
I was privileged this week when asked to be interviewed by
Josh Green, a reporter with Boone County's newspaper,
The Daily Sun, for a
feature story he planned to write about this Boone County
Genealogy website. He was amazed at all the Boone County
artifacts we have available, and wanted to learn more about
the origins of the U.S. and INGenWeb, the many volunteers
behind it, and the thousands of site visitors and Boone
County researchers who benefit from this website. He thought
the readers and local residents would love learning about
this website, and I certainly had to agree.
The article was published in the Wednesday, December 6, 2006
edition.

The Daily Sun newspaper of Boone County, an
independent publication started in July, 2005, is looking
for comments from people with Boone County ties who frequent
this Web site. The newspaper is seeking commentary from
Boone County residents (and residents of any place, so long
as they have an interest in Boone County) for future
stories. Funny, heart-warming, sad or dramatic stories
relating to Boone County genealogy will also be useful.
