Last Will and Testament of Rebecca Brenton
I, Rebecca Brenton of the county of Boone and state of
Indiana, widow of William Brenton deceased, do make this my
last will and testament. First, I direct my executor pay all
bills and funeral expenses. I will my son, William all
interest and title to the real estate of William Brenton,
late of this county. In consideration of which, he will pay
my son Robert N. Brenton the sum of one hundred dollars, two
years after this date. To my daughter Isabelle Brenton the
sum of one hundred dollars, two years after this date. To my
son, Simeon Brenton, the sum of ten dollars two years after
this date. To my son Hugh Brenton, the sum of ten dollars
two years after this date. To my daughter Elizabeth Ann
Everman the sum of two dollars
two years after this date. To my daughter Mary Jane Woods,
the sum of two dollars two years after this date. To my
daughters Martha Emily Fletcher, Rebecca Everman, Dorcas M.
Curtis the sum of two dollars two years after this date.
Also my daughter Isabelle shall have a four year old roan
mare, one white cow, one red heifer and eight head of sheep.
My son William shall have all the interest in the corn,
wheat, oats, hay now on the farm. He shall also have all the
stock not named above, and all the farming implements. My
son William and daughter
Isabelle shall have all the household and kitchen furniture
to share. I appoint my brother Hugh R. Wiley my executor.

Witnesses John M. Burns, J. N. Wiley, before Silas A Lee,
Clerk Of The Court of Common Pleas.
Recorded the 28th day of February, 1865.
Certified and admitted into probate March 1st, 1865, before
Silas A Lee, Clerk Of The Court of Common Pleas, Boone
County Indiana where personally appeared John N. Wiley, one
of the witnesses as above.
