Squire Thompson

Squire Thompson who recently purchased the Harrison & Son's stock of goods at Jamestown, was born in Estill County, Kentucky, 12 January 1849. He came to Indiana in the early 70's and has been engaged in farming, the butcher business, milling business, saw milling business, trading, real estate business, general merchandise business, etc. He is a born trader and is never satisfied if he is not making improvements, and it is a matter of history that he has done more to remodel and beautify residence properties in Brownsburg than any other man in it. It is said of him that he will buy a property simply to have the pleasure of improving it. He will buy anything, from the moon down to a mule.
