Smith Marriage

Jamestown Press
Jamestown, [Boone County] Indiana
Friday, 1 March 1901 page 3

P. B. SMITH rang in rather a surprise on all his folks and many friends here Sunday. He went to Indianapolis Saturday noon, ostensibly on business and to visit with his uncle over Sunday, and while there he met his sweetheart, Miss Anna BUERAGLIN of Pittsboro, and they got joking with each other about marring[sic] and ended in earnest by going and having the knot tied, at least this is Perry's story. But Perry informed us that an understanding had been arrived at long ago, but the happy event was suppose to be as far away as fall. Well, if Perry did play it on us, we wish him and the bride all kinds of prosperity and joy. Perry is a bustling, pleasant and upright gentleman, and we know she is a perfect lady by being chosen by him. She is the daughter of Louis BUERAGLIN. They will go housekeeping here in John SHELLEY's house, to be vacated by W. J. DARNELL.
