Four Generations of Myers Family

The above group represents four generations in the Myers family who are prominent and well known people in this section. James W., Myers, the father, grandfather and great grandfather is nearly 82 years old. He was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky, 24 February 1822, and spent his early years in that state. He is the father of ten children as follows: Marion, living east of Lebanon [IN]; Milton, who resides north of Pittsboro [IN]; Johnny and Fletcher, of near New Brunswick [IN]; Ora of near Shannondale [IN]; Henry, who lives in the house with his father near the Poplar Grove Church [Boone Co. IN]; Elizabeth Hedge, living near Hazel Grove [IN] east of Lebanon; Sarah Bowman, of Ladoga [IN] and Allie and Clara who are deceased. There are twenty seven grandchildren and eight grandchildren. The other members of the above group are Marion, aged 53, his son Jesse, aged 29, and Paul, son of Jesse, aged 3.
