J. F. HALL
J. F. HALL was born in Hendricks County, Eel River township,
[IN] July 1, 1860. His father died when he was two years old
and his mother died when he was fifteen. He attended the
district schools working nights, mornings and Saturdays for
his board. After completing the course in the district
school he borrowed money and attended the Central Normal
College at Danville. At this institution he was prepared for
the profession of teaching which profession he followed for
some four years. In 1885 he engaged in the drug business in
Jamestown, and is enjoying a very successful business
career. He store is in every way up-to-date. He was married
to Florence DARNELL in 1899. He is a member of the
Christian Church and Order of the K. of P.
