Dale Accident

Jamestown Press
Jamestown, [Boone County] Indiana
Friday, 12 April 1901 page 3

Mrs. Brack DALE, east of town, met with an accident Wednesday afternoon that came near proving most serious. In driving into town her horse became frightened at some boys playing with a lamb in the road at the extreme end of Main Street and suddenly torned [sic] around and threw her out of the buggy and ran the buggy over her, then run into Geo. DUNCAN's wire fence, knocking down two pannels [sic] and cutting itself some, breaking the buggy shafts and one wheel and otherwise damaging the buggy. The horse ran on up town and was caught. Mrs. DALE was not seriously hurt, no bones fractured or joints dislocated, but considerably bruised and nervously shocked. Frank SHOCKLEY took MRS. DALE home.
