Carney Golden Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Martin CARNEY celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home in New Brunswick, 7 September 1901. Those present were composed the family and near relatives. Martin CARNEY was born in Pennsylvania, 26 March 1829. He removed with his parents to Indiana when about two years old, where he has spent the remainder of his life. Sarah J. CARNEY was born in Rush County, Indiana, 4 October 1832, her maiden name was MORRIS. Mr. and Mrs. CARNEY were married 7 September 1851. They are the parents of twelve children, ten of whom are living, all of them being present at the celebration with their families. Mr. and Mrs. CARNEY with their children and grandchildren number fifty-two. They received numerous presents in token of the occasion.
