Isaac Barker
"... Isaac and Mary, who were members of the Friend's
church, were among the pioneers of Boone Co, IN., having
come here in 1833, when the woods were filled with Indians
and wild animals, and here they entered 160 acres in the
wilderness, from which they hewed out a comfortable home, on
which they resided until their respective deaths, his
occurring in 1844, and hers in 1860."
