"In the name of God. Amen.

I, Susannah Swartz, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make and publish this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all previous Wills by me made.

First. I commit my soul to God who gave it.

Second. I direct that my body be decently buried and all my personal expenses promptly be paid.

Third. I will and bequeath to my son, Jacob Swartz, and Mary C. Swartz, my undivided one third part of the following described Real Estate, in the County of Putnam, in the State of Indiana, to wit: The East Half of the South East quarter of Section Seven (7). Township Thirteen(13), Range Four (4) West, in fee simple.

Fourth. I Will to James Swartz and Ezra K. Swartz my Bureau and press, they making choice of the two articles; and my remaining personal property to be equally divided among my heirs.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal in the presence of the subscribing witnesses hereto, this Oct. 19, 1865.

Be it remembered that on the 23rd day of October, 1866, James G. Martin, one of the subscrbing witnesses to the within and foregoing Last Will and Testament of Susannah Swartz, late of said County, deceased, personally appeared before the Clerk of the Court Common Pleas of Putnam County, in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the clerk of said Court upon his oath declared and testified as follows, that is to say, That on the 19th day of October, 1865, he saw the said Susannah sign her name to said instrument in writing to be her last Will and Testament and that the said instrument in writing was at the same time at the request of the said Susannah, and with her consent, attested and subscribed by the said Parks and this deponent in the presence of said Testator, and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Susannah was at the time of the signing and subscribing of the said instrument in writing as aforesaid, of full age, (that is, more than twenty-one years of age), and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes: and further says not.
