THOMAS Family Reunion 1895

In the grove at Old Somerset Church, six miles north of Greencastle, on Thursday, August 8 there will be a reunion of the Nelson family, however, remotely related are expected to be present and join in cordially inviting their friends to gather with them on that day with the assurance that nothing will be left undone to render the occasion one to be enjoyed and long to be remembered with pleasure. There will be plenty of shade, water and seats. All you need bring with you is a well-filled lunch basket and a determination to enjoy life to the utmost for one day at least.

There will be a reunion of the Thomas family held near Bethel on Little Walnut on the farm of Catharine Howard on Sat Aug 10, 1895. The intent of those managing the reunion is to have it a well attended and enjoyable affair and arrangements to this end are now in progress. A cordial invitation to attend is extended to all. – kbz
