The seeing of a big snake in Warren Township by many people during the past few weeks recalled to the memory of Mrs. Alf Stone on the Airport Road near here the time about 40 years ago when she was a small girl, a big snake escaped from a circus near her home at Ladoga. She recalls picnicking under a tree when the snake was discovered hanging from a limb above her by some men. It was shot and killed. The snake measured upward of 20’ in length and was about the size of a stove-pipe, Mrs. Stone recalls.
